Barn Raising featuring “Farm Fun” by Stacy Iest Hsu 2016.
This was such a cute fabric line. The first quilt I designed for it is called Time to Harvest which is a farming-themed large lap quilt with lots of appliqué and is geared for kids. I wanted to design a quilt that would appeal to adults. I thought barns, and then traditional community barn raising and then log cabins. In an attempt to make it different from every other log cabin pattern out there, I added in the white triangles. I think it is a very happy quilt and would be perfect for a picnic on a sunny day.
