I bet most quilters know the Yellow Brick Road pattern by Atkinson Designs. Fat quarter friendly, easy to follow instructions and a rite of passage for all confident beginners. Icing on the Cake was my effort to design my own “Yellow Brick Road”. It uses Layer Cakes and/or Charm Square Packs and the pattern includes instructions to make a Baby, Lap, Twin and Queen version, with or without a outer border flap. It may be time for a relaunch.
